Privacy Policy - GhostAssist

This policy explains what data the GhostAssist application (the "Product") processes, why, where it is sent, and how you can manage it. It covers the Product only; processing of your data as a user of sovrest.com is described in our site-wide Privacy Policy.

1. What data the Product processes
- License data: license key, device identifier (device_id), activation status and expiry, renewal events. Used to verify your right to use the Product.
- Technical data: Product version, Windows OS version, basic device characteristics - only as needed for operation and diagnostics.
- User input: text, commands and content you yourself submit to the Product to perform its functions. Processed to return a result to you; not used for advertising or profiling.
- Payment data: the Product does not store payment cards. License payments are processed by CloudPayments; card data is handled on their side.
- Telemetry (if enabled): aggregated startup and error events for stability diagnostics. Not tied to your identity and contains no user content.
2. Purposes of processing
- license activation and validity checks;
- providing Product features within your plan;
- detecting and fixing technical errors;
- protection against license violations and automated abuse;
- processing payment and issuing a 54-FZ fiscal receipt.
3. Where data is transmitted
- SOVREST - servers located in the Russian Federation (Timeweb Cloud): license checks and telemetry.
- CloudPayments - license payment processing.
- CloudKassir - 54-FZ fiscal receipt generation.
If a specific Product feature requires processing by an external service, the necessary request is sent to that service over an encrypted channel only when you use that feature. Data is not transferred to foreign jurisdictions except where strictly required by a feature you choose and consent to.
4. Retention and deletion
- License and technical data are kept for the license term and up to 3 years after, for accounting/tax purposes and dispute resolution.
- User input submitted for one-off processing is not kept longer than needed to return a result, unless a specific feature states otherwise.
- On request to info@sovrest.com we delete data related to you, except data we are legally required to retain.
5. Your rights (152-FZ)
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent to processing - by writing to info@sovrest.com. We respond within statutory timeframes.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always available at https://sovrest.com/products/GHOSTASSIST/privacy; the last-updated date is shown at the top of the page.
